Use default gateway on remote network settings for IPv6 and for IPv4, follow these steps:
- Press the Windows logo key+R to open the Run box.
- Type ncpa.cpl in the Run box, and then press Enter to open Network Connections.
- Right-click the VPN connection, and then click Properties.
- Click the Networking tab in the VPN connection properties dialog box, select Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), and then click Properties.
- Click Advanced… in the Protocol properties box.
- Click the IP Settings tab in the Advanced TCP/IP Settings box.
- To disable the default gateway, clear the Use default gateway on remote network check box. Or, to enable the default gateway, select the Use default gateway on remote network check box.
- Click OK to close the Advanced TCP/IP Settings dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Protocol properties dialog box.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), click Properties, and then repeat step 5 through step 9 to change the default gateway setting for IPv4.
- Click OK to close the VPN connection properties dialog box.
Note By default, the
Use default gateway on remote network check box is selected.
