VSS Busisness Soluions attends the HIMSS Conference 2010 to learn more about the healthcare industry in order to find areas in which we can drive the IT interoperbility while keeping patients information private/secure and create accountability for these records.
Update: While we were there we discovered there were only one company that had a good plan for the security and accountability of patients records. We feel the healthcare industry needs to put the security and accountability of patients records to the top of the agenda. Currently we see the interoperbility (which is important) on the forefront without considering the overall accountability and privacy of these records being distributed.
